The company is local to Charlotte, NC and family owned by Katrina and Derik; a husband and wife team. The Team

Katrina was a stay-at-home mom with her first child, but she wanted to feel more vital. She began falling in love with the idea of becoming a mom and an entrepreneur so that her children would grow up to learn through observation that creating something of your own is both attainable and rewarding. After her second child was born, it became apparent that juggling family, career, and the daily routine was next to impossible. Katrina began to seek fulfillment that would appeal to anyone in need of a second set of hands. She came across a few options that could help with simple administrative tasks, errands, and managing home projects, but no service offered the gift of time.

Katrina’s first thought was, “How am I going to start this business with a toddler and a newborn?” She decided to grow her business slowly because development had to be planned around rearing her children. The older they became, the more time she would have for her business.

Katrina began to speak with others in the same position. Each of them was looking for the secret to the simple life. These feelings resonated with everyone she talked to. People told her she should pursue being a life coach or a finance counselor. Then they started to ask if she could redecorate their homes or if she could look after the contractors while they are away at work. Finally, the question came about watching their home and watering  their plants while they were away—and the list went on. It was then Katrina knew she could pull it all together and help busy people with everyday tasks.

Katrina was a nurse and board certified human services practitioner, with broad backgrounds in nursing, real estate, finance, human resources and project management, and a passion for communication. Building upon these skills, she launched The Premier Concierge in 2012, a company that prides itself on professionalism, details and providing services tailored to fit each client’s lifestyle. 

In addition to their concierge firm, Katrina also founded The Home Organizers. Katrina realized that people innately desire to live in organized homes, but often don’t have the time or expertise to implement the necessary changes in their lives. Every project is tailored to functional systems for each individual clients’ needs, while adding a functional aesthetic to closets, pantries, garages and attics.
